The X Ultra is what you buy when the X Pro isn't enough. A titanium and carbon frame drops it to 1.8 kg, lighter than the Pro, while the motor climbs to 1000 W and 20-25 Nm per leg. The headline number is range: 30 km of pure assist on a single battery, the longest in our lineup, enough to put a full alpine day inside one charge. It costs roughly double the Pro. For most people the Pro is still the smart buy. But if you do big days, want the lightest frame and the longest legs, and don't want to think about the battery, this is the one.
What it does well.
30 km of pure assist on a single battery. A full day in the mountains on one charge.
20-25 Nm per leg. The strongest Hypershell, and it shows on steep ground.
A titanium and carbon frame brings it to 1.8 kg. More power, less weight.
The numbers, with context.
Manufacturer figures, verified in our 60-hour test cycle. Range numbers assume continuous max-assist on a 10% grade. Most riders see longer in mixed use.
