1.6 kg of carbon, 900 W of hip assist, CHF 949. The catch is the service network. Our full exoskeleton review.
The DNSYS X1 Carbon is the lightest powered exoskeleton we have tested and the best value in the lineup. A carbon-fibre frame and an aggressive price make it the easiest one to recommend on paper. The catch is service. Full review below.

What it gets right
At 1.6 kg it disappears on your hips within minutes, yet the 900 W motor still flattens long climbs and keeps trail runners moving. It assists both walking and running, the battery pops out so you can carry a spare, and it costs less than anything else with this much motor. For pure performance per franc, nothing beats it.
Where it falls short
DNSYS's European service network is still building out. If something breaks, expect to ship the odd return yourself rather than walk into a local repair point. The app is good but not quite Hypershell-polished. None of this matters on the trail; it matters the day you need a fix.
Who it is for
- Value hunters who want the most assist per franc.
- Weight-conscious hikers and trail runners.
- People comfortable handling an occasional shipped return themselves.
The best value powered exoskeleton in 2026, and the lightest. Buy it if you want maximum performance per franc and you can live with a service network that is still maturing.
